Yesterday I received some incredibly exciting news via email. For those of you who have followed my posts up until now, you should recall my recent trip to Cartersville, GA for the Primal Move instructor workshop. For more on that amazing adventure, check out my previous blog post here. Anyway, I received a congratulatory email yesterday confirming that I had passed my testing requirements to become a Primal Move Fundamentals Instructor. A lot of hard work, hours of practice, and not to mention lots of video filming, took place to make this certification a reality. I am honored to have been granted this certification and look forward to incorporating more Primal Move drills with my clients.
Now, if you’re wondering what all the hype about Primal Move is about, allow me to direct you towards this video below! The video featured will show clips from an actual Primal Move Workshop to give you all an idea of the style of training involved with this process. Check it out below!
Primal Move is a fun workshop that is designed to help enhance your movement skill through play-oriented activity. Benefits of this certification include (but are not limited to) better endurance, increased flexibility, pain reduction/remission, and overall increase in your lust for life The program was developed by Master RKC Peter Lakatos in order to ad the fun factor into functional movement (say that five times fast ) To quote Peter Lakatos himself, Primal Move is designed to “make changes through playful, beautiful and mindful movements. Through better movement you will be able to enjoy whatever you like doing in life. We want to show you the potential we all have in us, buried deep down. Our goal is to move better through the unique mixture of unloaded and loaded mobility exercises, strength and endurance practice, while aiming to better movement at all time. Moving more is not better. Moving stronger is not better. Moving faster is not better. Moving better is better, and we aim to move stronger, more and faster when we have already mastered better.” For more information on the breakdown of what primal move is, please read Dragon Door’s interview withe RKC Peter Lakatos here.
I want to mention to you all in Pittsburgh that I am now available to instruct Primal Move Fundamentals. If you are in need of more mobility work to increase your strength, range of motion, and/or to just have more fun in life, please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I will be releasing more details in the coming weeks about my own Primal Move classes and workshops so stay tuned for that! In the meantime, if you are interested in becoming a Primal Move instructor yourself, check out these up and coming Primal Move Workshops and become a force of nature!
Have a great rest of the week everyone! Remember to eat smart, train hard, and enjoy your life!
