Today is the day folks! I need a handful of strength training guru’s to meet me at the pull up bar for my first test program of the year! Starting April 1st, I will be working alongside YOU, the reader and trainee on this program, to enhance your current pulling power, or master your very FIRST pull up rep all to yourself. Read up! Here’s the story on how this program came about, and how YOU can get your hands on the exact same protocol that got me back above the bar in just 3 short weeks.
I took nearly 8 months off of serious pull up training due to a) focussing on my strong first level 2 kettlebell certification and b) going through some wacky and WILD situations back in Pittsburgh that had taken a stressful toll on me personally. Believing that I could just step up to my home pull up bar and bang out rep after rep, I attempted to do just that at the beginning of February.
I got nothing. Literally. No pull up whatsoever.
So. . .what’s a former weighted pull up master to do? Back to the basics we go!
After a series of phone calls to my Strong First Coaching colleagues, and putting together a number of important strength training exercises and stretches, a pull up program developed that took me from zero pull ups to rep after rep in just four weeks. Now, I want to hand out this program to YOU to become stronger than you though possible in your own pull-up game.
I am looking for 10 people to test my brand new pull up training program, and I will personally coach you through this program every step of the way. This is a 4 week kettlebell and body weight training program and you must be able to commit to just 4 days worth of training during these 4 weeks. Expect some challenging routines that will up the antics of your fitness routine and make you a force to be reckoned with. This IS a combination of both kettlebell training and body weight training, so you should have a basic understanding of the fundamental kettlebell lifts (i.e. swings, cleans, and squats).
